Jake Collins, part of the Hunter Jones Group Dubai team, shares what helps the firm stay ahead in one of the world’s most competitive real estate markets.


“Our relationships with the top 30 developers in Dubai mean we’re often the first to know about new projects,” says Collins. “That early insight allows us to bring exclusive opportunities to clients before they hit the wider market.”


The team maintains a proactive approach — attending project briefings, visiting sites, and building long-term relationships with developers. “It’s about staying close to what’s happening on the ground,” he adds.


Client experience is another focus. Regular updates and open days help investors stay informed throughout each stage of a development. “People like to know what’s happening with their investment — and we make sure they’re not left guessing.”


Collins’s proudest moment since joining? Securing a pre-launch unit for a client within his first two weeks. “I listened to what they needed, found the right project, and we locked it in on launch day.”


He’s especially passionate about off-plan property. “Helping a client secure a unit early and watching it grow in value — that’s the most rewarding part of the job.”


As for what’s caught his attention recently, Collins points to Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah. “With the casino due to open in 2027, we’ve already seen strong returns. It’s a compact area with huge potential.”


Outside of work, Collins can solve a Rubik’s Cube in under two minutes, and moved to Dubai without ever visiting. His dream skill? “Speaking every language — it would make doing business around the world a lot easier.”
